Account Manager - Team Lead (B2B)

Amazon Business is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for business customers to buy on Amazon. We are focused on building solutions to enable B2B customers to discover, research and buy products from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between) that buy items from all categories.

As a Commercial Team lead you and your team will define the strategy and execute tactical plans to help Commercial companies reinvent the way they buy indirect supplies for their companies. You will lead from the front with your team to plan and deliver quota, build and develop accounts, implement customer growth campaigns and foster voice of customer feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience in people management and directly delivering multi-million dollar quotas/territories, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
• While always placing the customer first, execute weekly, monthly and quarterly targets in support of operating objectives
• Develop regional territory plans and report on them monthly
• Drive Customer satisfaction
• Grow a team of customer advisors from recruitment to promotion
• Understand and mechanize inputs and outputs of the business
• Partner with customer Operations and Marketing to test, measure, and execute acquisition ideas
• Partner with Category and Product Management teams to provide customer perspective as well as customer-driven product improvement ideas
• Take ownership in the continued build-out and documentation of the infrastructure and processes of acquiring and onboarding Amazon Business customers
• Present results in weekly and monthly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS required
• 5+ years of experience in sales or account management with a large portfolio of accounts
• Experience in Management
• Track record of hitting monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with vendor and customer negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and/or product development
• Experience with B2B marketplaces or networks
• Experience working in an EU organization with multiple stakeholders
• Expert use of MS Office, Salesforce.com and other systems
