VMware Cloud on AWS(VMC) is a jointly engineered service that brings VMware's enterprise class Software-Defined Data Center software to the AWS Cloud, delivered as an on-demand service with optimized access to AWS services, enabling IT teams to leverage the best of both worlds. Our customers leverage the solution to to seamlessly migrate and run business-critical workloads in a familiar environment and modernize them with AWS services. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who can own the end-to-end planning and execution of high impact projects that are important to meet our customers' needs. These projects will be highly visible across AWS teams such as product, engineering, sales, marketing, partner and VMware. You will be partnering with and influencing the direction of multiple engineering teams within and outside of the AWS Commercial Software Services Team to deliver complex and cross-functional projects. The right candidate will have a strong technical program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects across different organizations. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple priorities. As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

• Bachelor's degree or higher with a technical discipline (computer science or engineering preferred)
• 5+ years of Program Management experience in large, cross-organizational projects prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines
• Strong communication skills that allow effective cross group influence and impact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Superior verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment
•Experience with designing technical solutions - broad technical breadth and depth including web services and back-end application infrastructure
• Previous experience in enterprise IT or infrastructure management
• Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience
