We are looking for a talented IT App Development engineer to help support the TAA systems which impacts hundreds of thousands of Amazon's hourly associates and all teams which support these businesses across the globe. You will work on operational excellence projects, tracking down the true root cause of TAA related issues and take action to correct the errors. You will work with engineers, product managers, business teams and tech leadership on a variety of projects with impact that spans the length and breadth of Amazon globally.

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a IT App Engineer, Business/Financial Analyst or Systems Analyst in a company with large, complex systems.

• Knowledge of Time and Attendance systems
• Experience working with Kronos application
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Comfort in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and application engineering strategy
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
