Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Facilities Management HVAC/Refrigeration who will lead the HVAC/refrigeration maintenance program across the country. This position will be part of an exciting, fast moving and growing business team. The right candidate for this role will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to the end. You will have an eye for detail and determination to turn-over high-quality work. You will be an integral part of the team that works cross-functionally between Store Design, Store Operations, Store Construction, Tech, Security, Loss Prevention, and Amazon vendors. This position will closely manage all aspects of HVAC/refrigeration in order to ensure stores maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Critical to success is ensuring refrigeration systems keep food product within food safety standards. Oversight of vendor performance is critical. This position involves direct contact with both internal and external parties, and this candidate must have a professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with business partners at every level, including upper management.

Duties
-Directs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance and service operations
-Directs regional field operations
-Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
-Ensures business needs are being met
-Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry laws, regulations, and guidelines
-Ensures financial sustainability
-Maintains project oversight
-Manages complex projects
-Manages department budget

Basic Qualifications:
• -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Ability to conduct financial business case analysis / translate information into useful formats and draw conclusions
• Experience in negotiating commercial contracts (master agreements / work-orders)
• Familiarity with business process documentation and improvement
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
• Able to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
• Provide business decision support and participate/lead special projects
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team as projects dictate
• Able to travel up to or beyond 50% based on project work load
