Description: Amazon MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Expansion team is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to come up with innovative technology solutions that directly impacts a fast paced growth of Amazon in the new geographies. In this role you will: • Build solutions to take the great Amazon experience to 400M potential customers of Amazon in MENA • Work with new customer base & culture and tap into a fast growing ecommerce market • Enrich Amazon by bringing back new, cool and innovative things that are happening around the world Our mission is to provide a one-stop shopping experience to MENA customers that includes: • Connect millions of new customers and sellers through the Amazon peculiar experience • Tailored customer experience with RTL (Right-to-Left), currency, payment methods, mobile experience. In this role you will: • Invent, Develop, Integrate and Migrate existing technologies to deliver the great Amazon experience • Extend and Customize the Amazon Platforms that meets our new customer needs • Identify Problems and Develop Solutions on behalf of our customers and sellers that are unique to the geography. Basic Qualifications: • 3+ years in a technical project/program management role in a related industry • Experience leading complex projects involving multiple geographically dispersed teams • Possess in-depth technical understanding of agile software development lifecycle and large scale Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) • Extensive experience defining programs and implementing them across a team focused on delivering outcomes that meet rapidly evolving customer needs • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and deliver results • Strong verbal and written communication skills • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications: • A Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • A proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations • Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, technical leaders, and developers • Experience working with a full end-to-end e-commerce stack • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation | |
